Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language baseline policy provided as a starting point. It should be reviewed and approved by the Bay to Bay Trail Association before it is relied upon. (TODO: legal review.)

What we collect

When you use a form on this site — to apply to volunteer, enquire about sponsorship, or contact us — we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and message. We only collect what you choose to send us.

How we use it

We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry and to coordinate volunteering, sponsorship and trail activities. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate this website (for example, our form and hosting providers).

How forms are handled

Form submissions on this site are processed by our hosting provider (Netlify) and delivered to the Association by email. Their handling of your data is subject to their own privacy practices.

Keeping in touch

We will only contact you about the matter you raised. If we ever wish to contact you for another reason, we will ask for your consent first.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time. Just get in touch.
